Newport, Rhode Island

We recently traveled to Rhode Island for seven days of R. & R.  Here are some photos we made at places never before experienced by us.

The entrance to Fort Adams

Construction of fort began in 1824, took 30 years to complete,
was used as the U. S. Naval Academy during the Civil War.
