Aubrey's Family History (part 4 of 4)

Click on the chart and pictures to enlarge for better viewing. The chart shows names and dates of Aubrey's ancestors and the ancestors' children names and dates. Aubrey's children and grandchildren are also shown.

Here are some observations from the information in the family history:

Aubrey's ancestry consists of family names of Doub, Woosley, Speas, Reynolds, and Spainhour.

There are 27 boys and 14 girls in this branch of the Doub family tree, an almost 2:1 ratio boys to girls.

Notice the picture below of Lettie Moore, Aubrey's sister, pointing to the photo of their great-grandfather Michael Clark Doub. His photo hangs among other historical preachers at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church on Robinhood Road in Winston-Salem. Reverend Doub was minister there from 1850-1853.

Return here next week for another topic.

I thank Aubrey for his help and cooperation in preparing this series.

I especially thank Lettie Moore for her help. She has extraordinary knowledge about the family's history.

Have a good week!
